Aims and Scope

Journal of One Health (Formerly Journal of Foodborne and Zoonotic Diseases) is online journal published quarterly (January-March, April-June, July-September and October- December) in English. It was renamed to accommodate a wider platform to address emerging health threats shared by people, animals, and the environment. The suitability of papers for publication in the journal is judged by the peer review. The articles on all broad aspects of zoonoses and infectious diseases (viz. patho-biology, epidemiology, vaccines, diagnosis, social and economic impact, control and prevention strategy and governmental policies), antimicrobial resistance, climate change and environmental health hazards, water and health, food safety, health events and disasters, animal health hazards and public health hazards will be considered for publications. One Health is a validated, collaborative and holistic approach for combating health threats to humans, animals and their surrounding environment and is being advocated by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). Journal of One Health provides a platform for rapid dissemination of high quality scientific knowledge at “Man-Animal-Environment” interfaces for the best reach of scientific communities. The journal encourages publication involving collaborative researches by bringing together leading experts in public health, microbiology, parasitology, mycology, veterinary sciences, epidemiology, pathology, immunology, food safety etc. JOH maintains a very rapid peer review process from submission to final online publication.
