Impact Factor

The impact factor is most important criteria for the author(s) to submit the articles for possible publication in any journal. The impact factor reflects the citations of the published journal articles in the scientific literature. The impact factor is calculated based on the number of articles citations in a particular year divided by total number of articles published in previous two years of particular journals. However, provisional impact factor may be calculated based on the ratio of the citations for the published articles in the indexed journals to total articles published in particular years (citation data of indexing/abstracting/database agencies).
